Product Description

Copper clad aluminum wire is manufactured using cladding and welding technology. High-quality copper is concentrically clad on the outer surface of an aluminum rod or steel wire core, and a strong metallurgical bond is formed between the copper layer and the core at the atomic level, combining the two different metal materials into an integral whole. This allows processes like drawing and annealing to be carried out in the same way as the drawing process for single metal wires, with the copper-aluminum proportion adjustable while keeping the copper layer volume ratio relatively constant.

Product Features Analysis:

1. DC Resistivity: The DC resistivity of copper clad aluminum wire is approximately 1.5 times that of copper wire. For the same ampacity, the weight of copper clad aluminum wire is about half that of copper wire.
