Product Description:

Copper clad aluminum wire is manufactured using cladding and welding technology, where high-quality copper is concentrically clad on the outer surface of an aluminum rod or steel wire core. A strong metallurgical bond is formed between the copper layer and the core at the atomic level, integrating the two different metal materials into a single whole. This allows the copper and aluminum, with adjustable proportions, to undergo drawing and annealing processes like a single metal wire, while keeping the copper layer volume ratio relatively constant.

Product Features Analysis:

1. DC Resistivity: The DC resistivity of copper clad aluminum wire is approximately 1.5 times that of pure copper wire. For the same nominal value, the weight of copper clad aluminum wire is about half that of pure copper wire.
